Pink Jambu has continuously defined heritage fabrics as modern luxury, since its founding in 1992. The House is inspired by the relaxed attitude of Malaysian culture, with the refinement of a global mindset.
Pink Jambu’s signature fabrics are crafted by hand using the ancient technique of batik, the wax-resistant method of dyeing fabrics. Our fabrics are crafted by hand from start to finish, on pure silks and cottons sourced from around the world.
The House applies its savoire faire on noble materials to create objects of art. Every piece of fabric is one a of kind, crafted as heirlooms to be worn by this generation and the next.
Pink Jambu is also known as the primary retailer of the exquisite Royal Pahang Weave, a thousand-year old heritage textile tradition that hails from the Malaysian sultanate of Pahang. This fine craft has experienced a revitalisation that can be credited to Her Majesty Queen Azizah of Pahang, Malaysia. The fabric has a rich history and is considered formal wear in Malaysian high society. The House still employs the traditional techniques of processing, dyeing and weaving yarns that can take up to two months to produce a single sheet of fabric.
Our House philosophy of luxury, classicism and ease, applied to a small range of ready-to-wear for women, men and the home.
