The company E. Fessler was founded in 1794 and has been standing for distinguished Viennese craftsmanship ever since. In the beginning the company produced mainly ceramics and pottery for the nearby "Naschmarkt" vendors. But in the 19th century the building trade boomed and high-quality tiled stoves produced by E. Fessler were now in high demand, even at court. Since then surprisingly little has changed in the production process. The former "purveyors of the Court of Austria-Hungary", now 7th generation master stove-fitters, still feel committed to superior quality.
HANDMADE TILED STOVES
Even if the basic production of storage heaters still follows traditional methods, the layout of their inner workings is designed for maximum efficiency by using modern calculation programmes. Fessler stoves are custom made, in period or modern style, and they prove that aesthetics and efficiency are able to complement one another.
