Since 1921, Strolz ski boots have been synonymous with solid craftsmanship and technological innovation. Both, the ski boot shells and the inner boot, made of selected leather, are still handmade on site today.

100 years of experience and quality

Hannes Strolz has been running the family business in the third generation since 1990. However he was already prepared for this task as a child.

His grandfather Ambros opened a shoemaker´s workshop in 1921, specializing in leather ski boots. Father Martin followed in the footsteps of Ambros. But first his passion was ski racing, which finally helped the Strolz ski boot to international fame. After the end of his sporting career he took over the ski boot family business. His first challenge was the conversion of the ski boot production to plastic shells at the end of the 1960´s.

For more than 3 decades and despite growing competition, Hannes Strolz has managed to keep the Strolz ski boots, since 2021 sold under a new brand "Hannes Strolz", on the road to success with his imcomparable design, constant innovations and not to forget with his everlasting passion for ski boots. He managed the balance of awareness for tradition and the modern world.
