Kiyohara Orimono is the only manufacturer in Shiga Prefecture in Japan that specialises in tsuzureori, a weaving technique with a proud history of approximately 4,000 years.
Since the company's foundation in 1873, we have produced the highest quality art textiles for ceremonial fukusas, kimono belts, decorative curtains for shrines and temples, and other artistic items for festive occasions.
In order to pass on the baton of this long history to the next hundred years, we have gone back to the basics and defined "tsuzureori is an 'auspicious cloth' suitable for celebratory occasions". And in order to convey the beauty of "tsuzureori", we launched our original brand "sufuto" in February 2021, with the theme of "goods for celebration".
The brand offers a variety of products such as business card holders, baby rings and pouches that can be used daily life.
