For 13 years, ‘MEISTERSTRASSE IN RESIDENCE’ has been bringing the art of masterful craftsmanship and exclusive manufactories to Lech am Arlberg. During selected weeks of the 2025 winter season, guests will have the opportunity to experience the unique skills of traditional master craftsmen live.
This special event offers fascinating insights into the world of craftsmanship and also provides the opportunity to meet the master personalities behind the works in person.
Craft pop-up in LECH ZÜRS: selected manufactories and master craftsmen present their products and creations in the most exclusive houses in Lech Zürs. ‘MEISTERSTRASSE IN RESIDENCE’ thus becomes a unique shopping experience and a cultural highlight of the winter season in Lech Zürs am Arlberg.
Hosted by the most exclusive hotels in Lech and Zürs, the masters are available at their exhibitions every afternoon (4-7pm) and also by appointment.

1–7 February: RETTL 1868 - Kilts & Fashion at the Romantik Hotel "Die Krone von Lech"
Thomas Rettl presents his latest creations as part of ‘MEISTERSTRASSE IN RESIDENCE’. The designer, known for the Arlberg check and his shop in Lech Zürs, will be there in person.
Rettl 1868 – Over 150 years of quality and tradition Since its foundation in 1868 as an imperial and royal uniform tailor, Rettl 1868 has stood for the highest quality standards. Today, the traditional brand combines exclusive fashion – from traditional costumes and wedding attire to unique kilts with their own checks. Under the motto ‘We dress personalities’, the company creates garments that perfectly combine tradition and individuality.
2 to 8 February: "ZUR SCHWÄBISCHEN JUNGFRAU" at the Hotel Gasthof Post Lech
Theodor Vanicek, owner of the traditional Viennese company, presents the finest table and bed linen as part of the ‘MEISTERSTRASSE IN RESIDENCE’. Be inspired by high-quality fabrics, artistic embroidery and exclusive designs – including ski motifs!
Schwäbische Jungfrau – craftsmanship since 1720 For over 300 years, this Viennese family business has stood for the highest standards of craftsmanship. In its own studio, it fulfils bespoke orders, monogram embroidery and individual customer requests – from classic tablecloths to luxurious yacht furnishings. With personal advice and high-quality materials, this traditional company helps its customers create unforgettable moments.

As part of the ‘MEISTERSTRASSE IN RESIDENCE’, Matthias Neuhuber presents exclusive parquet floors and natural wood floors that combine tradition and innovation. Discover personalised wood designs made from the best materials and get individual advice on site.
Goiserer Parkett – natural wood floors for generations Founded in 2015 by Matthias Neuhuber, Goiserer Parkett combines perfect craftsmanship with sustainable production. The company specialises in parquet flooring and natural wood floors, using high-quality materials and the latest techniques. Each project is individually planned and implemented to meet the highest standards of quality, aesthetics and durability.

Carina Strolz offers personal consultations and presents her exclusive ski trousers made to measure. Discover modern designs, functional fabrics and masterful workmanship on site.
Carina Strolz – bespoke tailoring in Lech Zürs Carina Strolz continues the long tradition of Lech's bespoke tailoring, which was already inspiring customers with individual ski trousers 60 years ago. Her designs combine fashionable functionality with sustainable fabrics and European production. After graduating in fashion and production management, she returned to Lech to train as a tailor and set up her own business.
Today, Carina Strolz is known for durable, high-quality ski trousers with timeless elegance and environmentally friendly production. Her motto: ‘Choose well, buy less, make it last.’

The original Hannes Strolz ski boots are produced in the Arlberg region and have returned to the place where the Strolz family started making custom ski boots in 1921.
Right next to the Rüfibahn, in the Strolz Ski Boot Museum, Hannes Strolz presents the development of ski boots from leather ski boots to the modern Hannes Strolz ski boot. Afterwards, those who are interested can design their own individual ski boots in the SKIBOOTIQUE and get personal advice and measurements from Merlin Strolz.
In the guide „MEISTERSTÜCKE SELECTION: Best of Craftsmanship“ the Arlberg plays a particular role: in an „Arlberg-Special“ we present top-hotels from the region. Furthermore, key figures of the European craft scene are interviewed about their perspective of the future of craftsmanship and dozens of excellent masters and producers from Austria, Germany, Holland Japan and Switzerland are portrayed with texts and stunning pictures.
